Chicken Alfredo

This is my version of the ever popular Chicken Alfredo.
As I expect groceries to provide me with everything I need when it comes to cooking (ingredients wise) I didn't find me a fettuccine that traditionally comes with a good Alfredo so instead, I got me a regular pasta, a great one too specially if you're only eating at home.

A bit of melted butter, all purpose cream and grated cheese simmered all together, I was a ble to make a good sauce.

Normally, you only need to season your chicken with salt and pepper before frying but this time, I marinated it with worcestershire sauce to give it 'lil color and taste.

Tara! Let's eat :D

Pasta Sausage

I'm a regular reader/visitor of  Purpose Driven Chef and every now and then I find something interesting and easy to cook recipes posted by the author. Since then I've tried the recipes at home with a twist of alternative ingredients if the things listed aren't a regular item in our kitchen (e.g white wine / olive oil). I can easily find these stuff at the grocery but given I'll be using little amount, I'm the makunat type who doesn't want to spend more :)

So chances are for me to find an alternative. Today I tried the Pasta Sausage :D

For the recipe please visit Purpose Driven Chef and type in "Pasta Sausage".

It said sun dried tomatoes but it's a bit expensive and they didn't have any brand that comes cheaper so i opted to use fresh ones.

I had fun cooking it :) try it..

Steamed mussels with pasta

Mussels is probably one of my favorite seafoods, besides it's cheap - they are indeed delicious. Through the years, I only knew one way to cook them and that's musssel soup. I was talking to a friend yesterday when she came on a different idea to cook it with pasta and the finished product? Steamed mussels with pasta :) yum

Spaghetti à la Jones

I cook in so many ways we can eat a meal, but not exactly what you call a hearty one, but through the years, as I came to read blogs about food - talked about loving food, watching my mom cook and constantly talking to a friend who can tell me how to cook a certain food in its simplest way - I thought I should try.

And for my first try - A simple spaghetti.
